John Schrenko
brain case
Foster Hoak lives a quiet life, sleeping in his stolen car and dreaming of killing his parents. But when he tries to stop a kidnapping, no one believes it really happened. Even he’s not sure. Angels in birdbaths, hateful voices, children with knives in windows- the doctors say it's all in his head in his head.
But no one can ignore the frozen corpse of a kidnapper. Driven by guilt, rage, and mocking voices, Foster can’t hide from who he is anymore. His only leads are bird crap and a woman more disturbed than he is, but he must find the missing girl. Even if it means he will be the next to disappear.
